How long does a gel pedicure last?
Gel on toes lasts longer than gel on fingers, because toenails grow more slowly and take less knocking about. Many people get several weeks out of a gel pedicure before it needs redoing.
Are pedicures good for your feet?
A pedicure is a cosmetic treatment: it leaves your feet feeling looked after and your toes looking great, and the soak is properly relaxing. It isn't a medical treatment, so for corns, verrucas or painful nails, see a podiatrist.
Can I get a pedicure if I have a fungal nail infection?
Not over a suspected fungal infection: for hygiene, and because gel can't go over it. See your GP, pharmacist or a podiatrist first, then book in once it's cleared up.
What should I not do before a pedicure?
Don't shave or wax your legs on the day, as freshly shaved skin can sting in the soak. Come with bare toenails if you can. If you're wearing gel on your toes from somewhere else, mention it when you book so we can allow time.
