🎀 GIRLS, DON’T PANIC ABOUT THE TPO “BAN”! 🎀 If you’ve seen lots of scary posts about TPO and gel nails recently, I just wanted to pop on here and reassure you all… 💗 Your gel nails aren’t suddenly banned! 😂💅🏼 TPO is an ingredient that has been used in some gel products to help them cure under a UV/LED lamp. The regulations around TPO are changing, which is why you may be seeing lots of talk about it online. But this doesn’t mean gel, BIAB or nail extensions are being banned — so there is absolutely no need to panic! 🩷 At Nails by Ellie Creed, I take the products I use on you very seriously. 🎀 HONA The HONA products I use are TPO-FREE, HEMA-FREE, HPMA-FREE & IBOA-FREE. 🎀 THE GELBOTTLE I also use The GelBottle, who have already introduced TPO-free formulas and are transitioning their wider GB range to TPO-free formulations. I only buy professional products from reputable brands and suppliers, I follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application and curing, and I keep myself up to date with the latest industry regulations and changes. 💗 So if you’ve been sat there thinking: “OMG, does this mean I can’t have my BIAB anymore?!” 😭😂 NOPE! 🎀 You can still enjoy your nails — just like always. 💅🏼✨ And if you’ve seen something online that’s made you worried, please just ask me before you panic! 😂🩷 I’m always happy to explain what I’m using on your nails and why. Gel itself isn’t necessarily the problem. Over-filing, peeling products off and improper removal can cause damage. 💗 “You need to give your nails a break from enhancements” Healthy nails aren’t about avoiding enhancements. They’re about good technique, proper removal & the right aftercare. 💗 “Hard gel & acrylic make your natural nails stronger” They can add structure and protection while you’re wearing them, but they don’t permanently change the strength of the natural nail underneath. 💗 “If it’s lifting, I can just peel it off” Absolutely not! 👀 Peeling can take layers of your natural nail with it. Book your removal and let us do it safely.
